This project was characterised by a highly constricted steeply sloping site, onerous programme requirements and the need to adhere to a strict budget. Our design utilised a light steel sway frame with composite concrete floors. This approach helped minimise disruption to university life by reducing traffic movement and avoiding the need for multiple deliveries of precast floor units.
