A Chartered Structural Engineer is required to undertake the design of structures in concrete, steel, masonry and timber, providing clients with innovative engineering solutions. Project types include working on residential developments both low and high rise, framed and unframed and educational developments. Project values are normally between £2m - £30m. The candidate will be able to demonstrate a professional competency in structural engineering, ability to earn the respect and confidence of other professionals within and outside the practice, present the practice externally in a manner appropriate to the position as a senior structural engineer. They will also need to be familiar and confident with current project/contractual procurement methods, have worked on a wide variety of projects in respect of size, value and type and also able to manage teams, internally, including financial management performance. Progression to "Operations Manager" within 18 months.
